If you encounter an error message like this
kurre@localhost:~/phobia3> ./phobia3
./phobia3: relocation error: ./phobia3: undefined symbol: Mix_ChannelFinished

you have an outdated version of the library SDL_mixer.

This problem has only been reported as a SuSE Linux 8 problem as of now, so other than SuSE users should be home free.

Please check out http://www.libsdl.org/projects/SDL_mixer/ for packages of newer version of the library, or compile from the sources included in the Phobia III distribution package.
