End-of-year praise abounds for MotoHeroz

Hello RedLynx fans! We’d like to pass along a belated Happy New Year’s to you, as well as some exciting news. It seems while we are all busy with holiday cheer and working diligently away on Trials Evolution (of course!), not just one, not just two, but three different Nintendo dedicated gaming sites broke out the love for our favorite platform racing game, MotoHeroz.

Nintendo Life has just posted up its “Best Games of 2011”, and in its WiiWare category it has given MotoHeroz the coveted Game of the Year award in both the Readers' Vote and Staff Awards categories. Nintendo Life says:

“RedLynx's MotoHeroz proves that there is room for quality on WiiWare, and that players are willing to pay for it. The daily race challenges provided one of the best reasons to keep powering up your Wii in 2011, providing more value for money than most cheaper WiiWare games — or even disc releases.”

Along the same lines, Nintendojo recently posted its own “Best Games of 2011” feature, and it has given MotoHeroz the runner-up position in the Best WiiWare Game of 2011 category. The editors remark, “MotoHeroz‘s excessively fun multiplayer component make the game a worthy silver medalist.” You can view the full Nintendojo article here.

And lastly but certainly not least, Nintendo Okie has also recognized the undeniable greatness of MotoHeroz. They have included the game in the Top 10 releases for all Nintendo platforms across 2011, the only WiiWare game so honored. Okie-in-Chief Tony writes:

“This was definitely the cream of the crop. Developer Red Lynx took the physics based play of their previous game, Trials HD, and brought it over to WiiWare in an over the top platforming racer.”

We totally agree!

We’d like to thank all the sites for recognizing MotoHeroz and including it in their round-ups, as well as all those gamers who voted for the game, played it, and have told their friends. We thank you all, and it makes us very happy how much you appreciate our hard work.
